Sandfontein is a working sheep farm where you can taste vine ripened tomatoes. Hiking will reward you with a unique diversity of fynbos and beautiful views of the typical Overberg “ruins”. There are mountain bike trails for experienced and less adventurous bikers.

Birders will not be disappointed by the variety of species they can spot. Blue Crane, Heron, Wildemakou, and Spoonbills regularly visit the farm’s dam. You can swim, canoe, or simply slow down and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful sunsets from your veranda.
